Penn.Infantry.Discharged May.17,1863.Enlisted into Co.F,29th Penn.
Infantry and discharged Aug.1,1863;enlisted April 13,1864 into Co.G,
97th Penn.Infantry. Discharged on July 5,1865.
Remained in the service eventually in 1907 becoming a Colonel in The
New Jersey National Guard.His grave stone reads General but no record gives him this rank.
