A GRADUATE OF WEST POINT IN 1858 GEN.HARKER SERVED AS COLONEL IN THE 65TH OHIO INFANTRY DURING THE CIVIL WAR.HE FOUGHT THROUGH MANY BATTLES AMONG THEM PERRYVILLE AND MURFREESBORO. HE DIED OF WOUNDS SUFFERED DURING THE ATLANTA,GEORGIA CAMPAIGNS AT KENNESAW MOUNTAIN
