THE PISCATAWAYTOWN BURIAL GROUND IS ALSO KNOW AS THE ST.JAMES EPISCOPAL CHURCH CEMETERY.THE CEMETERY AND CHURCH ARE BOTH ON THE NEW JERSEY AND FEDERAL HISTORIC RECORDS.THE CHURCH AND CEMETERY HAD THEIR BEGINNINGS IN 1704 WITH THE CHURCH BEING BUILT IN 1724,DESTOYRED BY FIRE AND REBUILT IN 1835.WITH EARLY 1890'S RENOVATION MUCH OF TODAYS CHURCH REMAINS AS WAS.
