Capt. William Henry Harrison Wilcox, born Jan. 1839 and died Sep. 6, 1916. He served in the CO'S A,B,E and D of the 10th NY Zouaves Infantry during the Civil War and took part in a great escape from Libby Prison on February 9 1864 but was recaptured. He was a descendant of Capt. George Herkimer who served with his brother, Gen. Nicholas Herkimer, during the Revolutionary War.
Enlisted June 18,1863 and discharged Feb.21,1865
